MEET THE FOUNDER
Education has always been close to my heart. As Nelson Mandela once said, “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.”
I have always believed that helping someone learn can open doors, transform lives, and create opportunities.
My career reflects this passion, shaped by a unique blend of teaching, business, and international experience.
After completing my degree in education, I moved into the tourism and hospitality industry, where I trained teams and managed luxury safari lodges for over a decade. I also ran my own coffee shop at an international airport, an experience that taught me resilience, leadership, and what it truly takes to create meaningful experiences for people. Each chapter enriched my understanding of how people learn, grow, and connect.
In 2015, I returned to my first love – education – earning my CELTA and moving to Istanbul. There, I taught across all levels, from kindergarten to high school, while also starting online teaching in Business English. I later taught university students in Georgia (Caucasus region) before returning to South Africa to focus on online teaching full-time. Over the years, I’ve worked with learners around the world – children, young adults, and professionals in international companies – helping them develop confidence, communicate effectively, and reach their goals, from exam preparation to high-level corporate communication.
LanguageWize was born from this rich experience. I saw first-hand that learning English is never just about vocabulary or grammar; it is about confidence, growth, and opportunity. That’s why LanguageWize exists: to provide tailored, empowering English learning for learners of all ages and backgrounds, whether in business, study, or personal development.
